FOCUS
OF TRAINING
Yamanni-Ryu training puts the student in touch with the original
martial art of Okinawa, enhances his/her coordination, dynamic body integration,
and generation of power.
SCHEDULE OF CLASSES:
| Bojutsu: | Tuesday 6:30 - 8:00 pm |
| Secondary Weapons: | Friday: 7:45 - 9:15 pm |
Curriculum:
Bojutsu is the main
subject of study of Yamanni-Ryu. Practice involves Kihon (basics), Kata, and
Kumibo (applications). Secondary weapons include: Sai, Tunfa, Nunchaku, and
Kama.

HISTORY & LINEAGE
RBKD - YAMANNI-CHINEN RYU
The parent weapons style of Okinawa from which many modern styles have issued.
Originated by the legendary "Todi" Sakugawa (1753-1815), codified by three
generations of the Chinen family, established on Okinawa in the Ryukyu Bujutsu
Kenkyu Doyukai (RBKD) by Master Chogi Kishaba, and taught worldwide by Sensei
Toshihiro Oshiro.
